Item Formatting

Some markup is available for formatting item content. Parts of it are based on the syntax used for Wikipedia articles, although it's much more limited.

Links: To create a link, use square brackets enclosing the url, a space, then the link text:

[http://my/url link text] ---> link text

Bold: For bold text, surround the text with three single quotes:

'''bold text''' ---> bold text

Titles: If you put the first line of an item in bold and leave a blank line after it, it will become the title for the item, which is visible in a few different places, like at the title in feeds, and the title when posting the item to Facebook. A couple caveats: a line will not be treated as the title if the first line is not entirely bold, or if it contains any extra single-quote characters, or if it is too long.
