231Godaddy happened... or at least I think it was godaddy's fault. Mush pot's hosted at godaddy (despite the warnings) because they have pretty good rates. But yesterday, the server was totally inaccessible, not responding to pings, etc. BTW, godaddy does have pretty good phone support--you can call and talk to someone intelligent. The reason they gave was that "the server crashed on restart", but I don't know if I believe that, since the rep first told me it was a problem "on their end", which I interpret as a routing problem in their network. I was looking at EC3, which would be about the same monthly rate for one instance, I think, but switching hosts is such a gigantic pain that I'll probably just stay where I am.
