The state released new dropout rates Tuesday. Though the statewide rate was 20.1 percent, districts in Santa Clara County generally did better.

Palo Alto Unified: 3.6%
Fremont Union High: 5.6%
Mountain View-Los Altos Union: 5.9%
Milpitas Unified: 5.6%
Santa Clara Unified: 12.3%
San Jose Unified: 11.3%
Morgan Hill Unified: 8.8%
Campbell Union High: 17.2%
Gilroy Unified: 13.1%
East Side Union High: 21.7%
County total: 15.3%
Statewide: 20.1%
